The world is changing around us. And it's changing at a terrifying rate. In just the last few years, it feels like climate change has gone from being this kind of 'some day' threat to something that we see the effects of every day. We're seeing more and more extreme weather events, air pollution is increasing, and our oceans are downing in plastic. Theare is a very real possibility that ours will be the first generation to have kids whose quality of life is worse than our own. Left unchecked, climate change could create something akin to an apocalyptic scenario, in our lifetimes. Rising sea levels will lead to a loss of
land for both living and farming, our polluted waterways will mean a lack of clean drinking water. All occupied with a rising population. It’s a perfect storm. Our program "Biosphere” aims to create awareness amongst school children regarding sustainable living. The program will focus on conscious consumption, zero waste, plastic free living, sustainable food, sustainable fashion, sustainable family, sustainable home, sustainable work, sustainable school, sustainable travel and transport, sustainable celebrations and activism.
Cities have become the centers of humanity - in their planning, design, degradation and regeneration - and in the last 10 years, in particular, much discussion has focused on sustainability, reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Within this, there are aspirations towards sustainable travel. Progress, however, appears intractably difficult in transport as the private car, largely fueled by petrol or diesel, remains the mainstream mode of use and choice. We seem very poor at planning for and delivering low carbon mobility. In almost all cities we are experiencing increasing emissions in transport, the city fabric is damaged by planning for the private car, and many people
complain of the daily grind of the commute as 'the worst part of their daily lives'. We don’t seem to be planning for attractive future lifestyles, and the quality of life in cities is often getting worse. Our travel behaviors and our strategies in transport planning do not match up with the requirements and ambitions of people, business and politicians. Parking is called the 'Cinderella' of mobility. If city parking is ill planned and citizens do not follow parking discipline, it's going to increase traffic congestion, pollute the air, encourage sprawl, increase housing costs, degrade urban design, prevent walkability, damage the economy, and penalize people who cannot afford a car.
ParkRight is again an awareness program for adults in the urban area enabling them with correct driving and parking habits.
We have a team of seasoned urban planners, environmentalists, engineers, philanthropists and changemakers who are working to achieve practical sustainably in cities blended with Circular Commerce, Smarter Spaces, and Happier Humans.
